Job summary

Expleo Group is recruiting Development and Prototype Technicians for a state-of-the-art Surrey facility. The contract role is inside IR35 and may involve unsocial hours and travel across the UK, Europe and occasional worldwide test support.

You will assist in building and operating multi-project concept/prototype vehicles and rigs, preparing them for tests, and coordinating with design/engineering to meet requirements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in motorsport/prototype/low volume/high performance complete vehicle builds.
• Welding, machining and fabrication skills are preferred.
• Understanding of automotive electrical/electronic systems for fault finding is advantageous.
• Experience with diagnostic platforms, especially MONACO, CANape and INCA is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the build of multi-project concept/mule/prototype and production level vehicles and rigs to high standards.
• Manage preparation and operation of such vehicles for test and development at multiple locations.
• Ensure two-way interaction with design and engineering to achieve requirements and targets.
