Job summary

Join Halfords Autocentres as a Vehicle Technician and advance your career with MOT Tester training, supported with a salary uplift on successful completion. You’ll service and repair vehicles, perform diagnostics across electrical, braking and suspension systems, and move toward MOT testing to DVSA standards.

With a base salary of up to £36,620 and an uncapped bonus averaging £5,800 per year, you’ll benefit from a comprehensive benefits package and clear progression opportunities within the UK’s

Qualifications

Must have Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Minimum 4 years' Vehicle Technician/Mechanic experience.
Full driving licence with no more than 9 points; willing to undertake MOT training.

Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, repairs and replacements.
Carry out diagnostics across electrical, braking, steering and suspension systems.
Perform MOT tests to DVSA standards.
Assist in MOT Tester training and qualification.
