Job summary

Halfords in Maidstone is recruiting a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic. You’ll be skilled in servicing and repair, capable of handling complex tasks such as clutches, timing belts and diagnostics across electrical, brake and suspension systems.

Base salary £32,790 - £38,100 with on-target earnings up to £45,000 and an uncapped monthly bonus averaging £6,900 per year, plus a strong benefits package and progression opportunities within the Halfords family.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience in servicing, repair and diagnostics across brakes, steering/suspension and engines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repair/replacement work.
• Perform complex tasks such as clutches, timing belts, and diagnostics on electrical, braking and suspension systems.
