Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to service and repair vehicles, with the ability to handle complex tasks such as clutches, timing belts, and diagnostics. You will operate across electrics, brakes, steering and suspension, using your Level 3 or time‑served experience to ensure quality workmanship.

We offer a strong base salary (£32,790–£38,100) with an uncapped monthly bonus scheme and on‑target earnings up to £45,000, plus excellent employee benefits and career progression

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair and replacements (coolant/diesel injectors, head gasket, brakes, electrical)
