Job summary

Halfords UK is seeking a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic in the UK. You will service and repair vehicles and handle increasingly complex tasks such as clutch and timing belt replacements, diagnostics across electrics, brakes, steering and suspension.

You should have Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) and a full driving licence with up to 9 points. The role offers an uncapped bonus and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair and replacements.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair/replacement work on vehicles.
• Carry out more complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements and diagnostics in areas like vehicle electrics, brake systems, steering and suspension.
