Job summary

Halfords is hiring a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic at our Autocentres in the UK. You will service and repair vehicles, handle tasks from clutches to timing belts, and perform diagnostics across electrical, brakes, steering and suspension.

You’ll need a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience, plus a full UK driving licence (no more than 9 points). The role offers base pay with a strong uncapped bonus and significant staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 LV Maintenance and Repair or time served
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points
• Experience in diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and complex repairs

Responsibilities

• Service and repair vehicles, including clutches and timing belts
• Perform diagnostics across electrics, brakes, steering and suspension
• Carry out replacements and servicing to required standards
