Job summary

Hawk Hiring is seeking a hands-on vehicle technician for a busy Preston workshop. You will service, repair and diagnose a wide range of vehicles, using up-to-date diagnostic equipment and keeping thorough records.

A proactive team player with strong time-management skills is essential for high workmanship standards. The role involves rota-based hours at a modern facility with on-site parking and ongoing training opportunities to progress your MOT, electric/hybrid and air conditioning

Qualifications

• Proven workshop experience and strong hands-on skills.
• Solid experience in vehicle servicing, repairs and fault diagnosis.
• Proactive team player with good time management and high workmanship standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance and repairs across diverse vehicles.
• Diagnose faults efficiently using up-to-date diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate service records and coordinate with parts team.
• Collaborate with a friendly workshop crew to minimise turnaround times.
