Job summary

Renault Group in Watford is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester to join a modern workshop that values quality and safety.

You will perform servicing, diagnostics, MOT testing and road testing as required, with a 40-hour week, 8:30am–5:00pm, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays; the role offers £39,000 per annum, an uncapped bonus, overtime and a welcome bonus after probation.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification required.
• MOT Tester licence (Class 4 and 7) required.
• Calm, professional approach with clear communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a workshop team.
• Full UK manual driving licence (manual and automatic vehicles).

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, repairs, maintenance and MOT testing.
• Complete diagnostic work and fault finding in line with manufacturer standards.
• Follow workshop processes and manufacturer guidelines.
• Road test vehicles where required.

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break
• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8:30am–12:30pm), paid at time and a half
