Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire Careers in Enfield is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester to join a modern workshop. The role focuses on servicing, repairs, MOT testing and diagnostic work within a team that values quality workmanship and safe, efficient practice.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break and one in four Saturdays. A £39,000 per annum salary plus uncapped bonus and overtime, plus a new insured car each year faces alongside a £3,000 welcome

Qualifications

• MOT Tester licence (Class 4 and 7) required.
• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Availability Monday to Friday 8:30–17:30 with one in four Saturdays.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a workshop and follow manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, repairs, maintenance and MOT testing.
• Complete diagnostic work and fault finding in line with manufacturer standards.
• Follow workshop processes and manufacturer guidelines.
• Road test vehicles where required.

How You’ll Contribute:

About You:

• MOT Tester licence (Class 4 and 7).


• Calm, professional approach with clear communication.

• Full UK manual driving licence (manual and automatic vehicles).


• Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break


• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8:30am–12:30pm), paid at time and a half
