Job summary

Renault Cardiff workshop is hiring a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our modern, well-supported team on Penarth Road. You’ll carry out servicing, repairs, maintenance and MOT testing, using up-to-date equipment and manufacturer training.

The role requires Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification, an MOT Tester licence (Class 4 and 7) and a full UK manual driving licence; you’ll work 40 hours per week with overtime, and enjoy benefits including a salary sacrifice car scheme, generous leave and

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, repairs, maintenance and MOT testing.
• Complete diagnostic work and fault-finding in line with manufacturer standards.
• Follow workshop processes and manufacturer guidelines.
• Road-test vehicles where required (full manual driving licence needed).

Renault Retail Group is looking for a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our Renault Cardiff workshop, located within our dealership on Penarth Road.

You’ll work in a modern, wellâ€‐supported environment with the latest equipment, clear processes, and excellent manufacturer training. This role is ideal for a Mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship, works safely and efficiently, and enjoys being part of a collaborative workshop team.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification
• MOT Tester licence (Class 4 and 7)

• Full UK manual driving licence (manual and automatic vehicles)

Hours & Pay

40 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm with 30 mins for lunch. Saturday mornings on a rota
