Job summary

Autotech Recruit Ltd in the Luton area is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy, well-established automotive workshop. You will service, maintain, diagnose and repair vehicles, with access to ongoing manufacturer-led training and development opportunities.

In a modern workshop, you will use the latest diagnostic equipment, conduct health checks, and ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard. A competitive OTE up to £40,000 and 31 days holiday are on offer.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• MOT Tester licence desirable.
• Own tools and a full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements
• Perform electronic vehicle health checks
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
• Deliver excellent customer service through a “fix right first time” approach

Working within a modern workshop environment, you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs, with access to ongoing manufacturer-led training and career development opportunities.

Monday to Friday

• 8:00am – 5:00pm or
• 8:30am – 5:30pm

1 in 2 Saturday mornings

• 8:00am – 1:00pm
