Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Midhurst is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician or Mechanic for their independent garage. The role requires Level 3 qualification, hands-on workshop experience, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• MOT Class 4 Tester licence would be advantageous.
• EV qualifications or training beneficial but not essential.
• Experience on a variety of vehicle makes and models.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of vehicle makes and models.

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic required

Our client is a well-established independent garage since 1947 based in Midhurst with an excellent reputation for providing high-quality vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair services. They are now seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their busy and professional workshop team.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Level 3 Technician with strong workshop experience, capable of working independently and contributing from day one. An MOT Tester licence would be highly advantageous, although training may be available for the right individual.

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic - Position Overview

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic - Position Remuneration

• Salary £32,000-£35,000 basic (depending on experience) £47,000 OTE (Overtime and efficiency bonus)

Hours

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with flexible start times of either 8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm.
