Job summary

Mulberry Recruitment in Haslemere is seeking a Vehicle Technician for a well-established independent garage. You will service and perform routine maintenance, handle brakes, suspension, clutches, cambelts, exhausts, tyres, general repairs, and fault finding across a wide range of makes and models.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years hands-on experience, strong mechanical knowledge, diagnostic skills, ability to work without constant supervision, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic.
• Strong general mechanical knowledge.
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on a variety of makes and models.
• Experience carrying out a broad range of mechanical repairs.
• The ability to work confidently and efficiently without constant supervision.
• A good standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
• A reliable and conscientious approach.
• Experience in an independent garage or similarly varied workshop environment.
• An MOT Tester licence would be beneficial but is not essential as we would put someone through their MOT training.

Salary: £38,000 - £50,000 DOE

Hours: Full Time, Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm
