Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy independent garage in Godstone. The role requires solid hands-on workshop experience with servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs.

A Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are essential. The position offers a £40,000 basic salary plus bonus and overtime, with a Monday–Friday schedule and every other Saturday, where a day off is given during the week.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician or mechanic.
• Strong servicing and maintenance skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance.
• Complete general mechanical repairs to a high standard.
• Diagnose and repair common mechanical faults.
• Complete occasional clutch replacements when required.
• Inspect vehicles and identify additional work required.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety.
• Work effectively as part of an experienced workshop team.

Vehicle Technician - Godstone

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic to join a modern independent garage in Godstone. Formal qualifications are not essential, but applicants must have solid hands-on workshop experience covering servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs. A Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are required.

Job Details

Location: Godstone

Salary: £40,000 basic + bonus & overtime

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm, plus every other Saturday. When working the Saturday, you will receive a day off during the week
