Job summary

Resolve Recruitment Services is recruiting a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic for their Gloucester site. You will maintain, service, and repair a variety of vehicles, diagnosing faults both in the workshop and on the road, using up-to-date tools to achieve first-time fixes.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, City & Guilds/NVQ certification, and a customer-focused, detail-oriented approach. Training and development are provided in a supportive, well-equipped dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points).
• Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Main dealership experience is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Diagnosing and resolving faults, in the workshop and on the road.
• Using up-to-date tools and systems to achieve first-time fixes.
• Working to brand and safety standards at all times.
• Maximising productivity through efficient use of workshop systems.
• Taking part in ongoing technical and brand-specific training.

Role:

Reactive Permanent Recruitment are working with a reputable medium sized dealership group with sites across the region. Due to growth, they seek a number of Vehicle Technicians/Mechanics to join their busy team in Gloucester (GL1)

Vehicle Technician/Mechanic package:

• Excellent basic salary of between £32-38,000 per annum (DOE)
• Fantastic and very achievable bonus of £6,000 per annum (paid monthly)
