The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing cars to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out servicing and routine vehicle maintenance.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Completing repairs to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and health checks.
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults.Identifying additional work required and reporting findings.
• Carrying out road tests where required.
• Completing accurate job cards and workshop documentation.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Working as part of a professional workshop team.

About You

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic.
• Experience working on cars within a professional workshop environment.
• Main dealership experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.A willingness to learn and undertake further training.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
