Job summary

ACS Automotive Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic skills to join a busy, independent garage in Blisworth.

You will diagnose faults, service and repair vehicles, and perform cambelt, clutch and gearbox work. The role offers a supportive team, a varied workload and regular team events, with a Monday–Friday pattern and one Saturday per month.

Qualifications

• An experienced Vehicle Technician with proven diagnostic and fault‑finding ability.
• Confident undertaking more involved mechanical repairs alongside routine servicing.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of your work.
• A reliable team player with pride in the quality of your repairs.
• Qualified or time‑served technicians welcome.
• An MOT licence would be an advantage but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Investigating and diagnosing vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment and your own technical knowledge.
• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs.
• Completing cambelt, clutch, brake and gearbox work.
• Ensuring repairs are completed accurately and to a high standard.

Monday-Friday, 8:15am-5pm | One Saturday per month, 8am-2pm, with a Friday afternoon off in lieu
