Job summary

ACS Automotive Recruitment Consultancy is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic skills to join an established independent garage in Blisworth.

This hands-on role covers fault finding, servicing and a range of mechanical repairs, with a supportive team and a great track record of keeping workshop jobs moving smoothly.

Salary £30,000-£45,000 depending on experience, with Monday to Friday hours and one Saturday per month.

Qualifications

• An experienced Vehicle Technician with proven diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Confident undertaking more involved mechanical repairs alongside routine servicing.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of your work.
• A reliable team player with pride in the quality of your repairs.
• Qualified or time-served technicians welcome.
• An MOT licence would be an advantage but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Investigating and diagnosing vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment and your own technical knowledge.
• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs.
• Completing cambelt, clutch, brake and gearbox work.
• Ensuring repairs are completed accurately and to a high standard.
