Job summary

Adam Curtis Specialist Automotive Recruitment Consultancy Ltd in Grays, Essex, is recruiting two experienced Vehicle Technicians to join a busy, independent garage with a strong local reputation.

You will perform servicing, maintenance and repairs across various makes and models, with emphasis on diagnostics, fault finding and mechanical work. Experience with Land Rover or BMW is advantageous but not essential; a full UK driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Around 7-10 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Ability to work independently in a busy workshop.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience carrying out a broad range of mechanical repairs.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance and repair work on various makes and models.
• MOT repairs and related servicing tasks.
• Brake pad and brake disc replacement, timing belt replacement, clutch replacement.
• Turbo repairs/replacements, DPF diagnostics and repairs.
• Engine repairs and general mechanical repairs and servicing.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.

The Role

The successful candidateswill be responsiblefor carrying outa wide rangeof servicing, maintenanceand repair workonvarious makes andmodels, including:

• MOT repairs

The Ideal Candidate

Hours

• Monday to Friday:9:00am - 6:00pm
• 1 in 2Saturdays:9:00am -5:00pm

Salary

• £35,000 - £45,000 basicsalary,depending on experience
