Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group in Richmond, England seeks a Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic for an Independent Garage. The role covers maintenance, service and repair of motor vehicles to a high standard, with hours 8:30am-6pm, Monday to Friday, no weekend work.

A must-have is diagnostic capability, plus hybrid/EV training or willingness to train. The garage is family-run and offers a company pension scheme and career progression.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance (IMI, NVQ, or City & Guilds).
• MOT Tester certificate (Class 4 at minimum preferred).
• Experience in either main dealer or independent garage.
• Confident working on cars or LCVs.
• Hybrid/EV trained or willing to train.
• Experience of working in a car dealership or an independent garage/ car supermarket.
• Experience of working on commercial vehicles/ LCV / cars.

Responsibilities

• Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard.
• As a Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic you will carry out all work completely and effectively.
