Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician at a busy main dealership in Chingford. You will undertake maintenance, service and repair work on motor vehicles to the highest standard within a supportive workshop.

The role requires Level 2 or 3 qualifications in Light Vehicle Maintenance, a Class 4 MOT tester certificate (preferably), and experience in either a main dealer or independent garage.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (IMI, NVQ or City & Guilds).
• MOT Tester certificate (Class 4 minimum preferred).
• Experience in main dealer or independent garage.
• Hybrid/EV training or willingness to train.
• Experience of working on cars and LCVs.

Responsibilities

• Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard.
• Carry out all work completely and effectively as a Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic.

Requirements for this Vehicle Technician role are:

• Level 2 or 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance (IMI, NVQ, or City & Guilds)

• Confident working on cars or LCVs
• Hybrid/EV trained – or open to training
