Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join an independent garage in Chichester, West Sussex. You will work on all makes and models using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, with a clear career development path.

This role offers a competitive salary up to £38,000 OTE, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30 with optional overtime. The ideal candidate has Level 3 qualification, 2 years' post-qualification experience, and a keen focus on diagnostics and customer service.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Level 3 Vehicle Technician or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' trade experience post-qualification.
• Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles preferred.
• MOT testing certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues across all makes and models.
• Conduct MOT tests and vehicle servicing, including air conditioning systems.
• Replace clutches, timing belts, and perform routine maintenance.
• Use Snap-on and Autel scanners for accurate diagnostics.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain thorough documentation and communicate repairs and service requirements with clients.
