Job summary

Perfect Placement is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable independent automotive centre in Basingstoke. You will deliver high-quality vehicle repairs and maintenance while upholding safety standards and customer satisfaction.

This role offers professional growth and ongoing training within a well-established garage. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, perform MOT tests, and work with hybrids and EVs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role.
• Qualification Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Level 2 also considered).
• Strong diagnostic skills; familiarity with Bosch and AA diagnostic systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostics and repairs to high standards.
• Service vehicles with precision and attention to detail.
• Perform MOT tests and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Service a variety of makes and models, including hybrids and EVs.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate with customers.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
