Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Gravesend is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to carry out routine maintenance, health checks, diagnostic troubleshooting, and general mechanical repairs on modern franchised vehicles to full manufacturer standards.

You will work 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday with alternate Saturday mornings, and benefit from a generous uncapped bonus scheme, 30 days holiday, company pension, life assurance, mental health support, gym discounts, and staff training

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience performing routine servicing, inspections and mechanical repairs in a professional workshop.
• DVSA MOT Tester licence is beneficial, but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence & own standard hand tools.

Role Overview

Seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to carry out routine maintenance, vehicle health checks, diagnostic troubleshooting, and general mechanical repairs on modern franchised vehicles to full manufacturer standards.

Pay & Benefits

• Basic Salary & Earnings: £34,000 basic per annum + an uncapped efficiency bonus scheme (average team earnings exceeding £52,000)
• Earnings Guarantee: Guaranteed minimum earnings of £3,500 per month (£42,000 p.a. equivalent) for your first 3 months while you settle into the workshop
• Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with alternate Saturday morning rota)

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Proven experience performing routine servicing, inspections, and mechanical repairs in a professional workshop setting (main dealer experience is a bonus, but independent candidates are fully welcomed).
• Valid DVSA MOT Tester licence is highly beneficial, but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence & own standard hand tools.
