Job summary
Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Westbury is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our busy automotive service centre. You will service, inspect, and repair cars and light vans, diagnose faults, and ensure work meets health and safety standards.
The role offers a competitive salary up to £36,000, a performance bonus around £3,600, a 42.5-hour week with weekdays, alternate Saturdays, 28 days leave, funded IMI courses, staff discounts, a contributory pension, and clear progression opportunities
Qualifications
- UK driving licence with minimal points.
- IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Practical experience in automotive workshop environment is desirable.
- Good communication and teamwork orientation.
Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, inspection and repairs on cars and light vans.
- Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently and accurately.
- Work in line with company procedures and health & safety standards.
- Maintain high workmanship standards to enhance the customer journey.
- Liaise with team members for smooth workshop operations.
- Keep accurate records of all work undertaken.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
