Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Salisbury is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a well-established multi-franchise car dealer group in the South West. You will provide diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services to a high standard within a reputable dealership.

The role offers earning potential with salary £32,000-£35,000, an uncapped bonus (£40k+ OTE), accredited manufacturer training to Master Technician, 22 days leave plus birthday off, pension, and long-term career prospects.

Qualifications

• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Alternatively, Level 2 qualified Vehicle Technicians looking to further their qualification through training.
• A valid UK driving licence is essential.
• Previous experience in a main dealer or franchised environment is preferred.
• Individuals with an active MOT Smart Card will be highly advantageous, though not essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repair work on a range of vehicles according to manufacturer standards.
• Accurately report vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance to the Workshop Controller.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety standards, and service procedures.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through technical expertise and professionalism.
• Adhere to manufacturer guidelines and health & safety regulations at all times.
• Support team goals by working efficiently and accurately within a busy main dealer environment.
