Job summary
Perfect Placement UK Ltd are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their franchise-approved Repair Centre in Llandow. You will diagnose, service and repair a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Working Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, you will benefit from a competitive salary (£30,000–£40,000), a monthly bonus (~£400), overtime pay, and a comprehensive training programme with opportunities for career
Qualifications
- IME/NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
- 1–2 years post-qualification experience in a busy dealership
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal endorsements
- MOT Smart Card is advantageous but not essential
- Experience in vehicle electronics/diagnosis or light commercial vehicles is desirable
Responsibilities
- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Ensure safety, reliability and performance through precise diagnostics
- Follow manufacturer and company procedures to complete work to high standards
- Record vehicle conditions and report issues to the Service Manager
- Maintain a tidy and organised workshop environment
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and quality procedures
- Assist with vehicle road testing and complete relevant documentation
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and technical updates
