Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting a Vehicle Technician for a busy workshop in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, within one of the UK’s largest automotive groups.

You will perform repairs and servicing to high standards, diagnose faults and mentor junior technicians while delivering quality customer service and keeping detailed records. The role offers strong earning potential and clear training paths.

Qualifications

• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Strong diagnostic knowledge of vehicle electronics and systems.
• Proactive problem-solving and teamwork in a busy workshop.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate repairs and servicing of vehicles per manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose faults efficiently using vehicle diagnostics knowledge.
• Mentor and assist other technicians in the workshop.
• Maintain safety and quality records of repairs and diagnostics.
• Provide accurate repair estimates and parts requisitions.
• Support customer service with technical updates as needed.
