Job summary

Sinclair Group in Wales is seeking a Technician in our workshop to diagnose, service and repair Skoda and SEAT/Cupra to exacting standards, ensuring vehicles leave performing at their best. You will conduct road tests and document work accurately.

This role suits someone who enjoys team success, communicates clearly with colleagues and customers, and is confident mentoring apprentices when needed. We offer 30 days leave, pension, enhanced parental pay, training including EV and hybrid

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Confidence communicating technical information to colleagues and customers.
Commitment to ongoing training, including EV/hybrid technology.
Experience using diagnostic equipment and completing quality checks, including road tests.
Dealership or retailer experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to Skoda and SEAT/Cupra standards.
Complete road tests and maintain accurate documentation.
Ensure parts are handled and stored correctly.
Mentor and support apprentices when required.
Be part of a high-performing team and communicate with customers.
