Job summary

Halfords in Bournemouth is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to service and repair vehicles, including more complex tasks like clutch and timing belt replacements. You should be able to diagnose issues across brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.

The role is full-time at our Bournemouth Autocentres site with an uncapped monthly bonus scheme and benefits. A Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience, plus a valid licence with ≤9 points,

Qualifications

Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair and replacements.

Responsibilities

As a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, you will be skilled in servicing and repair/replacement work.
You'll have the ability to carry out more complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements and diagnostics in areas such as vehicle electrics, brake steering and suspension systems.
