Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking a Service & Diagnostic Specialist for our Ashford workshop. You will perform routine servicing, mechanical repairs and diagnostics across ICE, hybrid and EV vehicles in a high-volume, dealer setting.

You will benefit from official EV/hybrid certifications, a structured training pathway, and a Monday–Friday schedule with weekends off. A strong drive to upskill and mentor colleagues is highly valued.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent time-served experience).
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in servicing, maintenance or diagnostics.
• High Voltage / EV awareness is a bonus and full training is provided.
• Must have a Full UK driving licence and own tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and mechanical repairs in a busy main dealer workshop.
• Perform electronic fault-finding and diagnostics across vehicle ranges.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and maintain high-voltage systems as required.
• Work with ICE, hybrid and fully electric vehicles in a fast-paced environment.

• Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 basic per annum (Tailored from Service Tech through to Diagnostic Specialist)
• Bonus: Uncapped monthly bonus scheme (£300 - £600+ typical extra per month)

Role Overview

Seeking a Service & Diagnostic Specialist to join our busy main dealer workshop in Ashford. You will carry out routine servicing, mechanical repairs, electronic fault-finding, MOT prep, and high-voltage maintenance across a massive range of popular ICE, hybrid, and fully electric vehicles (EV).

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent time-served experience)
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in routine servicing, mechanical maintenance, or electronic diagnostics
• High Voltage / EV awareness or qualification is a bonus (full training provided if not yet certified)
• Positive attitude and a strong hunger to upskill into an advanced EV & Diagnostic Specialist
• Full UK driving licence & own tools
