Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Ashford is seeking a Service & Diagnostic Specialist to join our busy main dealer workshop. You will perform routine servicing, mechanical repairs, fault-finding, MOT prep and HV maintenance across ICE, hybrid and EV vehicles.

Requirements include NVQ Level 2/3, 1+ year hands-on experience, UK driving license and own tools. A structured upskilling path and generous benefits await in a family-owned automotive group.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a relevant automotive field.
• At least 1 year hands-on servicing/diagnostics experience.
• High Voltage / EV awareness is a bonus with training provided.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 basic per annum (Tailored from Service Tech through to Diagnostic Specialist)
• Bonus: Uncapped monthly bonus scheme (£300 - £600+ typical extra per month)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:30 (NO WEEKENDS | Enjoy every single weekend off)

Role Overview

Seeking a Service & Diagnostic Specialist to join our busy main dealer workshop in Ashford. You will carry out routine servicing, mechanical repairs, electronic fault-finding, MOT prep, and high-voltage maintenance across a massive range of popular ICE, hybrid, and fully electric vehicles (EV).

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent time-served experience)
• 1+ years of hands‑on experience in routine servicing, mechanical maintenance, or electronic diagnostics
• High Voltage / EV awareness or qualification is a bonus (full training provided if not yet certified)
• Positive attitude and a strong hunger to upskill into an advanced EV & Diagnostic Specialist
• Full UK driving licence & own tools
