Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or City & Guilds/time-served equivalent) in vehicle maintenance.
• F-Gas certification preferred.
• Full UK driving licence essential; MOT Tester licence preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing, tyre replacement, braking system maintenance, and general mechanical repairs.
• Utilize up-to-date diagnostic tools to fault-find and resolve technical and electrical issues.
• Maintain high-quality first-time fix results while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Work productively to complete repairs accurately and keep the workshop operating smoothly.
• Collaborate with a skilled team of mechanics to uphold high standards of fast, reliable service.

Your Role

Working as a core member of our technical team in Weston-super-Mare, you will:

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing, tyre replacement, braking system maintenance, and general mechanical repairs.
• Utilize up-to-date diagnostic tools to efficiently fault-find and resolve technical and electrical issues.
• Maintain high-quality "first-time fix" results while adhering strictly to safety guidelines.
• Work productively to complete repairs accurately and keep the workshop operating smoothly.
• Collaborate with a skilled team of mechanics to uphold our high standards of fast, reliable service.

What You Need

• Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent). Proven track record in a busy workshop setting. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
• Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
• Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools for daily repair and servicing tasks. Reliable, self-motivated professional with good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
