Job summary

As a Vehicle Technician Apprentice in Lithia UK, you will gain hands-on experience in our dealerships while working towards an IMI Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Servicing and Maintenance. No prior automotive experience is required, and you will be supported every step of the way by a mentor and structured training.

Successful candidates will attend the Training Academy in Daventry 12 times, for 4 days each, over a 3 year programme, and you will join a team committed to learning, growth and

• Interest in vehicles and the automotive industry.
• Willingness to learn and follow training.
• Enthusiasm, a positive attitude and curiosity.
• Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Grade C/4 in English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Learn to service vehicles by following clear instructions.
• Diagnose, repair and replace vehicle parts and components.
• Carry out vehicle checks and inspections.
• Produce time estimates for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain repair and service records on the in-house system and for customers.
