Job summary

Stratstone Audi Shrewsbury is offering a Vehicle Technician Apprentice programme that combines hands-on dealership work with structured training to achieve an IMI Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Servicing and Maintenance.

No prior automotive experience is required; the apprenticeship includes mentored learning, with visits to Inspiro Training Academy in Milton Keynes during the first three years.

Qualifications

• Interest in vehicles and automotive industry.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Enthusiasm, positive attitude and keen eye for detail.
• Grade C/4 in English, Maths and Science.

Responsibilities

• Learn to service vehicles following clear instructions.
• Learn to diagnose, repair and replace vehicle parts and components.
• Carry out vehicle checks and inspections.
• Produce time estimates for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain repair and service records on the in-house computer system and for customers.
