Job summary

Vertu Volvo Yeovil is looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes, with a basic salary in a competitive range and a sign-on bonus structure. The package includes a basic salary between £28,840 and £45,800 per year, plus a £2,000 sign-on in month 1 and a further £2,000 in month 13, with additional benefits based on experience.

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3.
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT license preferred but not essential.
• Your own set of tools.
• A full UK driving licence.

We are offering a basic salary between£28,840and £45,800 depending on skills and experience.

You will also receive a sign on bonus of £2000 in month one of your employment and an additional £2000 in month 13!

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

We're looking for technicians across all levels and packages on offer are dependent upon experience and qualifications however, you can expect packages such as:

• Service and Maintenance Technician salaries up to £36,200
• Service and Diagnostic Technician salaries up to £38,600
• Senior Technician salariesup to £41,000
• Master Technician salaries up to £45,800

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
• MOT license preferred but not essential
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
