Job summary

Vertu Land Rover Guiseley is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our modern workshop in Guiseley. You will maintain, service and repair vehicles to high standards, working with an experienced team and a Service Manager to support our customers.

The role is based on a 40-hour week, predominantly Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays paid as overtime. Excellent training and career development are offered across Vertu Motors' network.

Qualifications

• Formal automotive qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3).
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT license preferred but not essential.
• Own set of tools and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, servicing and repairing vehicles to the highest standards.
• Quality workmanship and first‑time fixes.
• Work as part of a skilled technician team in a modern workshop.

At Vertu Land Rover Guiseley our Vehicle Technicians play a vital role within our Aftersales function delivering an outstanding customer motoring experience through honesty and trust. We are looking to recruit Technicians to join our growing, modern workshop in Guiseley. You will have the opportunity to work with an experienced Vertu Service Manager who is looking to recruit additional technicians to join our growing team to support one of the UK’s largest motor retailers. The role itself presents the opportunity to work with an experienced Technician team and in one of our biggest workshops in the business.

We are offering a basic salary between £28,840and £48,880depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 40 hour working week.While this role is primarily Monday to Friday, there may be occasional requirements to work on Saturdays to support business needs or special events. Advance notice will be provided, and any Saturday hours will be paid as ovetime.

The packages we are offering are dependant upon experience and accreditation however you can expect packages as below:

• Service and Maintenance Technicians basicsup to £39,200
• Service and Diagnostic Technicians basicsup to £41,600
• Senior Technicians basics up to £44,000
• Master Technicians basicsup to £48,880

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. Your expertise across all aspects of the job will be essential, from straightforward servicing to complex repairs.
