Job summary

Vertu Volkswagen Hereford is seeking a professional Vehicle Technician to maintain, service and repair cars to the highest standards. The role offers a basic salary ranging from £28,840 to £45,800 for a 40-hour week, with overtime on Saturdays and an additional over-performance bonus opportunity.

A £2,500 sign-on bonus is paid in month 1 and another £2,500 in month 13. The team benefits from manufacturer training and a strong development path within the Vertu network.

Qualifications

• Formal automotive qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds).
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT license preferred but not essential.
• Own set of tools.
• Full UK driving licence.

Join our team at Vertu Volkswagen Hereford and become a valued Technician.

We are offering a basic salary between £28,840 - £45,800 depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 40 hour working week and Saturdays paid as overtime and an additional over-performance bonus opportunity.

We also offer a sign-on bonus with this role, £2,500 in month 1 and £2,500 in month 13 of employment.

Salary Tiers (Based On Skills And Accreditation)

• Prep Technician - up to £35,000
• Service & Maintenance Technician – Up to £36,200
• Service & Diagnostic Technician - Up to £38,600
• Senior Technician - Up to £41,000
• Master Technician - Up to £45,800

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. We are expanding our team and currently seeking skilled individuals who take pride in their work. You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing vehicles to the highest standards. Your expertise across all aspects of the job will be essential, from straightforward servicing to complex repairs. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

Key Qualifications & Skills

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
