Job summary

ENS Recruitment requires a Vehicle Technician to join their team in the UK. You will inspect vehicles, diagnose required work, discuss repairs with admin and customers, and estimate repair times while performing repairs and tests.

The role includes fitting accessories, conducting safety checks, and performing routine maintenance. On-site hours are weekdays; overtime on Saturdays is optional. Salary up to £41,000 with quarterly bonuses after probation, subject to eligibility.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Qualification as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT testing experience is an advantage.

• Calculating the expected time for repairs.
• Repairing or replacing components as required.
• Road testing vehicles to test repair work or diagnose.
• Fitting and servicing vehicle accessories, including parking sensors, cameras, towbars and reverse cameras.
• Performing service and vehicle system safety checks.
• Performing vehicle maintenance tasks, such as changing oil and air filters, brakes, clutch, gearbox, suspension and diagnostics as required.
• Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
• Carrying out quality checks on all technician's work and discussing findings.
• When requested, visiting off‑site locations with adherence to safety guidelines and consideration for personal and team health and well-being.

Basic salary up to £41,000, plus quarterly bonuses of £400 – £1,000 after successful probation. Salary and bonus terms apply to eligible employees only.

Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:30 pm. Saturday overtime is optional for staff members, but not obligatory.
