Job summary

Hrgo-Recruitment is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician in Canterbury to join a busy workshop. The role involves maintenance, servicing and repairs across a mixed fleet to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy. A full UK driving licence is required.

The position is full-time and permanent with salary between £32,000 and £39,000 per annum, with OTE £44,000 depending on experience. Training and ongoing development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and repair.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in completing quality work.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and complete repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, steering and electrical systems.
• Carry out routine servicing and scheduled maintenance to manufacturer standards.
• Perform vehicle inspections and document work accurately.
• Use diagnostic equipment and workshop tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and follow health & safety procedures.
• Communicate with workshop colleagues and supervisors to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality standards.

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our clients busy workshop. The successful candidate will carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs across a mixed fleet, ensuring vehicles are safe, roadworthy and returned on time.
