Qualifications

Job description

Our client, a busy Franchised Car Dealership in Southend, has the requirement for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their established workshop team.

You will receive a dealership £2,500 welcome bonus. This bonus will be split into three payments:

1. 1st payment - £1,000 after 30 days in post
2. 2nd payment - £500 after 90 days in post
3. 3rd payment - £1,000 after 6 months in post

Mechanic / Vehicle Technician / Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Carry out Servicing & Repairs to Manufacturer Standards
2. Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards (if qualified)
3. Cam belt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
4. Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
5. Carry out New Car PDI’s & Used Car MPC’s
6. Warranty Repairs

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

1. Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
2. Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

1. Active MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 & 7)
2. Hybrid/EV Qualifications
3. Manufacturer Accreditations

Remuneration & Benefits

Basic Salary of £32,000 to £40,000 DOE. Opportunity to earn £60,000+. Time save Bonus paid weekly. Great benefits package.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm
Saturdays 1 in 4: 8am - 2pm
