Job summary

MPJ Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Technician to service, diagnose, repair and maintain cars and vans to manufacturer standards. You will ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high quality while delivering excellent customer service.

You'll perform health checks, complete workshop documentation and work both independently and as part of a team. A full UK driving licence is preferred, and a proactive, quality-focused approach is essential.

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.

Job description

Vehicle Technician (Car & Van)

Salary: £30,000-£33,000 DOE + Bonus up to £8,400 (OTE up to £41,400)

Hours:

• Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm
• Saturdays: 9:00am-1:00pm (rota, paid at overtime rate)

The Role

• You’ll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.
• You’ll also carry out vehicle health checks, complete workshop documentation, and deliver outstanding customer service.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
