AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is seeking a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic to join our leading automotive dealership group in the London area. You will carry out high-quality servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

This role offers £60,000 OTE with uncapped earnings, 33 days' annual leave, pension, healthcare support, training and development, life assurance, and flexible working options.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and technical knowledge applicable to light vehicles.
• Good understanding of vehicle safety standards and procedures.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic, you will carry out high-quality servicing, maintenance and repairs, ensuring vehicles meet manufacturer standards and safety requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Following manufacturer repair procedures and technical guidelines
• Conducting thorough vehicle inspections
• Identifying worn, damaged or defective components
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs accurately
• Providing technical advice to customers where required
• Maintaining excellent workmanship and customer service standards
• Working closely with Service Advisors and Workshop Controllers
• Supporting fellow Technicians and sharing technical knowledge
• Meeting workshop efficiency and productivity targets

About You

The ideal Vehicle Technician will have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent - essential
• Strong mechanical and technical knowledge
• Good understanding of vehicle safety standards
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive team-focused attitude
• A current MOT licence would be advantageous but is not essential
• Full UK driving licence
