Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a reputable franchised main dealer in St Austell for a Vehicle Technician. The successful candidate will diagnose faults, carry out repairs and routine servicing to manufacturer standards, and road test vehicles to ensure issues are resolved.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in diagnostics, repairs and routine servicing.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment and knowledge.
• Carry out repairs and routine servicing to manufacturer standards.
• Road test vehicles to ensure issues are resolved.
• Handle parts correctly and ensure proper storage.
• Provide excellent customer service and vehicle care.
• Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.

• Diagnosing vehicle faults accurately using technical knowledge and equipment
• Conducting repairs and routine servicing to manufacturer standards
• Road testing vehicles to ensure issues are fully resolved
• Handling parts correctly and ensuring proper storage
• Providing excellent customer service and vehicle care as theVehicle Technician
• Ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician or equivalent
• Experience in diagnostics, repairs, and routine servicing
• Previous MOT testing experience is desirable but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Full UK driving licence
