Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
• Strong diagnostic, mechanical and repair skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance following manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and technical faults efficiently and accurately.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and identify additional work requirements.
• Prepare used vehicles for sale, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Complete work within specified timeframes, ensuring high standards of quality.
• Maintain accurate workshop documentation and job records.
• Collaborate with team members to promote a productive workshop environment.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols and manufacturer repair standards.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or busy automotive workshop
• Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and repair skills
• Experience with servicing, repairs, and used vehicle preparation
• Methodical approach to fault-finding and problem-solving
• Ability to work independently and efficiently as part of a team
• A valid MOT Testing Licence is desirable but not essential
