Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a modern independent garage in Godstone. The role covers servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs with a focus on high quality workmanship.

A Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are required. Salary is £40,000 basic plus bonus and overtime, with a Monday to Friday 8:00am-6:00pm schedule and alternating Saturdays; a day off in the following week when you work Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Hands-on workshop experience in servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Strong servicing and mechanical repair capabilities.
• Ability to work independently on routine repairs with a quality-first mindset.
• Full UK Driving Licence required and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance
• Perform general mechanical repairs to a high standard
• Diagnose and repair common mechanical faults
• Complete occasional clutch replacements when required
• Inspect vehicles and identify additional work needed
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety
• Work effectively as part of a team in a workshop

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic to join a modern independent garage in Godstone. Formal qualifications are not essential, but applicants must have solid hands-on workshop experience covering servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs. A Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are required.

Job Details

• Location: Godstone


• Salary: £40,000 basic + bonus & overtime


• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am6:00pm, plus every other Saturday. When working the Saturday, you will receive a day off during the week
