Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Technician in Guildford to service a wide range of vehicles for a leading UK fleet operator. You will carry out inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs, using modern workshop facilities and shared specialist tooling.

This permanent role offers a £40,906 basic salary per year plus bonus and overtime, with an OTE of up to £65,000. Working hours are 39.5 per week split across early and late shifts, with Saturdays on a 1-in-3 rota.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent IMI/City & Guilds).
• Hands-on workshop experience as a mechanic or technician, ideally within a franchised dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance and repair procedures on a range of vehicles, trailers and mechanical equipment.
• Use your own personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair of light/heavy goods vehicles.
• Access to specialist tooling and shared equipment in our modern, fully equipped workshops.
