Job summary
Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a modern independent garage in Godstone. You should have solid hands-on workshop experience with servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs; formal qualifications are not essential. A Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are required.
Salary is £40,000 basic plus bonus and overtime. Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am–6:00pm, with every other Saturday; if you work Saturday you receive a day off in
Qualifications
- Solid hands-on workshop experience covering servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs.
- Formal automotive qualifications are not essential.
- Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are required.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Complete general mechanical repairs to a high standard
- Diagnose and repair common mechanical faults
- Complete occasional clutch replacements when required
- Inspect vehicles and identify additional work required
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety
- Work effectively as part of an experienced workshop team
