Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a modern independent garage in Godstone. You should have solid hands-on workshop experience with servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs; formal qualifications are not essential. A Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are required.

Salary is £40,000 basic plus bonus and overtime. Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am–6:00pm, with every other Saturday; if you work Saturday you receive a day off in

• Solid hands-on workshop experience covering servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs.
• Formal automotive qualifications are not essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance
• Complete general mechanical repairs to a high standard
• Diagnose and repair common mechanical faults
• Complete occasional clutch replacements when required
• Inspect vehicles and identify additional work required
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety
• Work effectively as part of an experienced workshop team

Formal qualifications are not essential, but applicants must have solid hands-on workshop experience covering servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs. Location: Godstone

Salary: £40,000 basic + bonus & overtime

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm, plus every other Saturday. When working the Saturday, you will receive a day off during the week

• Strong attention to detail with a quality-first approach
• Full UK Driving Licence - essential
