Octane Recruitment has a vacancy for a Vehicle Technician in Preston with one of the UK's leading main dealer groups. You will service, diagnose and repair vehicles and may conduct MOT testing if qualified.

The role offers an uncapped bonus, overtime, and progression opportunities, with an extra £1,500/year for MOT license holders. Working days are Monday to Friday with some Saturday mornings.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• NVQ/IMI/ATA/City & Guilds Level 3 preferred; Level 2 accepted with substantial experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Fault diagnosis and repair across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• MOT testing duties if qualified.

Vehicle Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ, IMI, ATA or City & Guilds level 3 ideally but we will also consider level 2 with a lot of experience (If you’re a level 2 Vehicle Technician with main dealership experience then definitely apply!)
